Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer

About the project
We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in migrating a large community platform with millions of active users from .NET to a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack. This project involves creating a new system from scratch and strategically migrating existing data, offering you an exciting opportunity to significantly influence architecture and technology decisions.

JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS infrastructure.
responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement high-quality software solutions.
- Develop robust backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Collaborate closely with PM, project owners, designer, and other developers to define technical solutions.
- Lead technical decisions, ensuring best practices, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Assist in planning the migration strategy and execute data migrations safely and effectively.
requirements
- Extensive experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, React.js, and Next.js.
- Proven experience developing scalable applications and services.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
nice to have
- Previous experience migrating systems from legacy technologies (.NET or similar) to JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.
- Experience with performance optimization and monitoring in large-scale environments.
